this weekend was by far the best i've had in a very long time. i spent practically all weekend with alex so how could i not have a great time? <3
friday, mom & dad had tickets to see cheap trick at the duquoin state fair. i decided to kind of tag along with them and meet alex there. eric decided to go too so we walked around for a little bit by ourselves while we waited for alex to get there. he got there at 8 or so. he bought me a box of taffy. :D we walked around with eric until the concert was over, then he went home with mom & dad. alex and i decided to sit down and watch the people on the gigantic swing... thingie. what was it called? the air something. i don't remember, but it's not important. anyway, it was quite amusing. sitting there with him on the curb in the dark, it was so romantic. hehe i didn't want to leave, but eventually, i had to. :(
saturday, he came over to my house at about 7 and ate dinner with us. exciiiting. =P he wanted me to dye his hair a dark red/maroon-ish color so we went to wal-mart and picked up some hair dye and decided to rent a movie. he picked out "the howling" which sounded awesome but was a let down in the end. there was some pretty cool special effects though. anyways, i was scared i'd mess up his hair so i made mom do it & i just rinsed the color out. heh his family isn't too fond of the new color but i love it. i think it looks awesome. (yes, honestly.)
sunday... oh, i went to carbondale with alex, emily (his sister), and clint (her boyfriend). we saw "napoleon dynamite" which was so pointless, yet so amusing. i liked it alot. before the movie, we went to the dollar tree and big lots, and the guys bought tons of various food that was not needed. spaghetti & meatballs? that was hilarious. guess you had to be there...
monday morning, alex called me at like 10:30 and woke me up. :( (kidding, of course!) anyway, he asked if i could go with him and his family to the fair at 11:30. it was union day so armbands for rides were supposed to be priced down for union workers (which his dad is). anyway, i asked mom and she said yes so i high-tailed it and got ready as fast as i could. mom dropped me off in duquoin at 11:30 or something. when we got to the fairgrounds, we sat around for awhile with all the union people (or whatever you'd like to call them) and ate some free food. we got armbands, which ended up being free so that was rad. then we parted ways with the family... err, his family... and rode some rides. alex started feeling kinda woozy so we sat down for awhile. we shared a gyro and lemon shake-up. *grin* it started raining pretty hard so we ran under the free entertainment tent and sat for an hour or so. this country band was playing that was quite lame. but they were worth enduring just to sit there with him. hehe after that... oh, we rode some more rides, bought some kettle corn, sat by the swing again. we rode the tram around the entire fair just for the heck of it. we realized it was 8, which was when we were supposed to meet alex's mom so we literally jumped off the tram and ran to meet her. i almost fell on my face when i jumped off. that was fun. lol so then we had to go meet my mom, and i had to go home. =`( i miss him. <3
i'm such a cornball. :/ oh well, what can you do?
the rest of this week has been pretty much uneventful so far. school is crap and so are the people who attend it. yeah, so that's all i have to say about that.

last night was just... wow. i'm still kinda on cloud 9. the show was... ehh. but muh boy on the other hand... uh yeah, we'll just leave it at that. =X i got mud on my new shoes. that was fun. x) i could feel sweat drops falling down my back when we were in the basement for the show. that was kinda icky. it was worth it though. and alex paid for hilary & i which was very sweet.
no more rambling. i have homework i need to do. grrr.
p.s. my stomach is disturbing my happy mood. i think i need to feed it.

i'm going to see jaw's last show tonight. it's gonna be fun and disappointing at the same time. but yay, i'm excited!
next saturday is it burns, the hangarounds, MOTO, and the speeding tickets at the lost cross in carbondale. hopefully jarvis (err, alex) will go with cody so i can see him. if i can go, that is. eee, hopefully!
p.s. i realized i never posted about hanson. =/ well, it was very fun!! however, go read hil's entry on the show if you want a summary of what happened. it's very accurate. x)

hilary won the hanson soundcheck contest. way rad. i knew she deserved to win, i just didn't know if she would. you rule, hil. (and i AM going to call you sometime tonight!)
i really don't have much to say.
oh, i never posted about keith's new album! he said at the party he decided to title it "be here" "because wherever you are you should always 'be here.'" anyway, it was originally set for release on october 5 but was moved up to september 21 due to the success of "days go by." it's only been out for 5 weeks and it's already #10 on billboard. i love that keith has become so successful, but at the same time i hate it because it means he's virtually inaccessible now. maybe i'm being greedy but i don't really care anymore. i just want to see and talk to him again like the old days.

i got my hanson ticket today in the mail! it says "no cameras" on the ticket. what the heck? that's insanely bogus. but nonetheless, i'm muy excited for sunday. it's gonna be a riot. and hilary! i'm excited to see her. it's been waaay too long.

as i posted before, i got my hair cut on friday. yesterday, i bought hair color and last night my mom dyed it dark brown for me. i really, really like, and i hope you guys do, too. i saw a ton of my friends today and they all loved it so i'm happy. i know not everyone will like it, but i do, and that's really all that matters, right? x)

well, i did it, i chopped 8" off my hair. i'm gonna send it into locks of love. it says on their website they don't accept less than 10" but tracy, my hairdresser seemed to think they did so we'll see, i guess. anyway, i really like it. i'm thinking of cutting it a couple more inches but i dunno. i'm getting ready to dye it again because it mostly all faded out. it's gonna be a dark brown with no highlights this time. i hope it turns out good. so yeah, tell me what you think about my new haircut!

alot has happened in my life since i last posted. i went to prom (yeah, shocker! it was actually really fun though, i'll admit) with my friend jermaine from church. we started dating and became boyfriend and girlfriend. we were together for exactly 2 months and 1 week when we decided it wasn't working. we fought alot and had alot of differences that we couldn't get past. we're still really good friends though which i was worried wouldn't happen, but i'm glad it did.
hmm, what else has happened? not much really. ooooh, i'm going to hilary's the 24-26 to see hanson with her on that saturday!! i was starting to think i would never get a chance to see them. it's gonna be mega awesome. i can't wait!!

i just spent over an hour making a layout for uku.com and bloody psp decides to close out of itself without giving any warning to me. and of course it had to be a layout that was actually coming out really good. now i'm going to have to spend an extra hour tomorrow redoing which should have been done tonight.
this is one of the many times that computers seem to not like me. well screw you too, ya buttwipe!
i should have expected this, seeing as the past couple of weeks have been the closest to hell that i have ever experienced. in all aspects of my life.

i have a new crush. yeah, can you believe it? x) he goes to a different school but i know him through chelse, my best friend at church. his name is shh it's a secret. anyway, chelse gave me his e-mail address and told me he wanted me to e-mail him. i don't know him that well but i figured well heck, if he really wanted me to e-mail him, i might as well fulfill his wishes. heh he seems like a cool guy but i'll see.
i saw secret window saturday afternoon before i saw keith. i was uber happy that day because i got to see both johnny and keith in the same day. well, i didn't see johnny in person (too bad) but you know what i mean. no talky to keithy. x( OHH! i saw robbie, who is keith's bass guitarist & i have a major crush on him & he resembles johnny!! & he is married x`(. his wife was with him though so i didn't ask him to fix my shoe. yeah, he tried to sign my chucks a couple mondays ago when i saw him but it was raining and my shoe was all wet so the sharpie was smudging and junk and the signature is barely there. yeah, it was sad. next time his wife is not with him, i will ask him. i must!! i must also tell him that i adore him muchly. he is yummy and shy and sweet and he has this sexy deep voice and.... AH. i would post a picture of him but pictures just don't do him justice. he looks so much better in person. maybe later i'll post one.
gotta go pick up my bro 'cause my parents are "busy." psh!
edit: i realized when i got home that i probably sounded eh... stupid, dorky, etc. ah well. live with it.
